# Brands Management
describes brands in eLIMS system
Brand information is managed in the system to ensure accurate data within the system. When creating an item, an item brand must be assigned to ensure complete information about the item is available.

#### Creating Brands in system
To manage brand information in the system, head over to the brands menu from the sidebar.

To create a brand, click "Add brand". When the brand creation form pops out, fill out all the information accurately. Once the form is completed, save it to add a brand.
Brand Creation
The created brand information will be avilableavailable when creating new items.
